Ruben is a 16-year-old boy from the village of Karbi. He’s a creative soul who loves playing the piano and creating stunning art through sand animation. But behind his calm and artistic nature, Ruben was facing a serious health challenge.
He was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis — a condition that affects the spine. To manage it and prevent further complications, he urgently needed a special thoraco-lumbo-sacral orthosis (TLSO brace). While part of the cost (140,000 AMD) was covered by the state, there was still a 50,000 AMD gap standing between Ruben and his treatment.
Thanks to the generosity of one of our donors — who chose to remain anonymous — we were able to quickly close that gap and provide Ruben with the brace he needed.
Today, Ruben is on a healthier path, continuing to play music and dream big — pain-free and with proper support.
