This sweet and bright girl first showed signs of illness during teething: weakness, constant sleepiness, and general discomfort. She was taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital, where doctors discovered a life-threatening aneurysm — an abnormal bulging of a blood vessel wall.

The most dangerous complication of an aneurysm is rupture, which can lead to massive internal bleeding and life-threatening shock. Children in this condition often arrive at hospitals in critical states.

Until now, Inesa hasn’t received specialized treatment, as this type of surgery isn’t performed for children her age in Armenia — and the cost of undergoing it abroad is very high.
