The goal of the “Hurry for Good” summer camp is to provide 196 children aged 8-15 from border villages with the opportunity to develop systematic analysis and business thinking skills.
“Hurry for Good” Summer Camp
The children were selected through the collaborative efforts of relevant specialists and school teachers. The target group consists of children from border villages who often lack important educational opportunities due to the country’s non-peaceful and insecure social situation. The knowledge gained at the camp will contribute to the development of children’s social skills, teamwork abilities, and help uncover their potential and talents.
During the camp, children will delve deeper into national and cultural values. The camp will facilitate interaction and friendship among 196 children from border villages, fostering strong community bonds. The “Hurry for Good” summer camp is one of the best opportunities for alternative education, complementing the knowledge acquired at school and significantly expanding children’s worldview. It aims to cultivate a flexible mindset that enables them to adapt quickly to the rapid changes of the modern world.
Day 1: Coursework: Startup:
Emotional intelligence
Idea generation and implementation
Building teams and startups
By the end of the first day, children will understand the concept of a startup, emotional intelligence, teamwork, and time management. Through practical exercises, they will reinforce their theoretical knowledge and be ready to apply it to any other startup project.
Day 2: Course-workshop:
Project management
Product/product management
UI/UX design
Practical application of acquired knowledge within their startup idea
At the end of the second day, each group will analyze their generated idea from a startup perspective, studying project implementation details and product features. They will grasp the significance of design in their startup activities and receive mentorship to develop their product designs.
Day 3: Course-workshop:
Understanding marketing and its importance in business
Stages of target marketing
Market research
Buyer Avatar and its significance
Product price, promotion, place, packaging, positioning
By the end of the third day, groups will conduct market research, identify competing organizations and their characteristics, and understand their product’s Buyer Avatar and how to target them. They will develop strategies for market positioning and product promotion.
Day 4: Fundraising:
Groups will learn where to apply and how to effectively present their products for fundraising.
Day 5: Pitch Deck:
Children will learn about Pitch Decks and how to create a competent and effective one, using the knowledge they have acquired.
Day 6: National culture:
Singing and dancing lessons Participants will explore national and cultural values in more depth.
Day 7: Outdoor games and networking:
The event will culminate in project presentations by the groups.
Even after the camp concludes, the connection with the children continues, providing them with greater opportunities. Utilizing the knowledge they have acquired, they will identify issues within their communities and, with the support of mentors and relevant professionals, find solutions.
