Meet 14-year-old Vardan. He has been diagnosed with stage 3 scoliosis of the spine, a condition that causes him many difficulties and puts both his health and quality of life at serious risk. Without proper intervention, the degree of scoliosis may increase, leading to severe musculoskeletal problems.

To prevent disability, and before he reaches the stage of surgery (with a metal implant at the Turner National Medical Institute in St. Petersburg), doctors have decided to control his condition through the use of a corset, breathing exercises, and intensive physiotherapy. However, these treatments already place a heavy financial burden on Vardan’s family, as his condition must be monitored regularly in St. Petersburg. Continuous corset corrections and specialist supervision are essential.
