Victoria’s Journey Towards Better Vision: Hope Turning into Real Results

10-year-old Victoria is a student at the Aregnazan Educational Complex. She is a creative and talented young girl who loves drawing, pottery, and playing the flute. At home, she also takes great care of her little pet mouse.

However, alongside these wonderful interests, Victoria has faced serious vision challenges since birth. She was diagnosed with strabismus in both eyes, astigmatism, and amblyopia. Following comprehensive examinations at Crystal Vision Pediatric and Adult EYE Clinic by Prof. Igor Aznauryan in Moscow, it became clear that she needed ongoing treatment and several medical procedures.

Thanks to the support of our compassionate donors and our effective collaboration with the IMAST app, Victoria has undergone several surgeries and stages of treatment, already showing encouraging results and bringing her one step closer to her dream of better vision.
Before beginning treatment, Victoria’s eyesight was significantly impaired. Following the first procedure, vision in her right eye improved to 30%, while her left eye reached 70%. Today, upon completing the fifth stage of treatment, vision in her right eye has improved to 55%, while her left eye has remained stable at 90%.

The cost of the fifth stage of treatment was AMD 1,159,690. Thanks to our successful collaboration with the IMAST app and the generosity of all our donors, we were able to raise the full amount needed to cover the treatment.
