Trip to the Children’s Home in the City of Ruza

As you remember, not long ago we announced a fundraiser for the children from the orphanage in the city of Ruza. We want to tell you about our trip, which took place on February 24, 2018. Thanks to your contributions, gifts, games, sweets, and necessary products were bought for the children. We thank our activists who helped with the purchase of a tennis table for the children, which they had been dreaming of! ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Visiting the orphanage is always a very important trip… Of course, it was nerve-wracking before the meeting, but we were received incredibly warmly! The children are very talented, versatile, already with thoughts and dreams about the future. Each of them is beautiful in their own way, but we had to find an individual approach to each of them. But when you receive in return that smile, shining eyes, tight hugs, you realize even more the importance of how useful and necessary you can be to someone, because you are simply there with them. Even if only for a while, but that’s enough to ignite a light in one soul. ⠀⠀

But the most touching moment is the farewell when one of the girls, a 12-year-old girl (whom you didn’t know yesterday), carefully hugging, asks, “Will you come to us again?” – and, of course, the answer is YES! Definitely YES!…
