Shushan’s Story: A Beautiful Outcome Thanks to You and the Community on the IMAST App

Several weeks ago, we launched a fundraising campaign through the IMAST app to support 14-year-old Shushan, who has bravely battled a spinal deformity since early childhood. Despite years of wearing orthopedic braces and undergoing multiple complex surgeries, one final operation was needed to ensure her long-term health and mobility.

The required procedure — spinal surgery with the placement of special implants — was scheduled for March 24, with the participation of international specialists. The total cost amounted to 1,355,000 AMD, a sum Shushan’s family could not cover on their own.

With the support of our caring community on IMAST, we began raising funds — and the response was deeply moving. In the midst of the campaign, a generous donor stepped forward and offered to cover the full cost of Shushan’s surgery.

We’re happy to share that the surgery has already been successfully performed, and Shushan is feeling well. This was a critical step toward her full recovery and a healthy, active future.

This remarkable act of kindness means that:

• Shushan received the treatment she needed, without her family bearing the financial burden.

• All donations already collected through IMAST will now be redirected to help another child in urgent need of medical support.
