“Hurry for Good” Summer Camp

“Hurry for Good” Summer Camp

The “Hurry for Good” summer camp aimed to provide an opportunity for 196 children aged 8-15 from border villages to develop systematic analysis and business thinking skills. The selection of children was a collaborative effort involving relevant specialists and school teachers. The target group consisted of children from border villages who often lacked important educational opportunities due to the non-peaceful and insecure social situation in the country. The knowledge gained during the camp contributes to the development of children’s social skills, teamwork abilities, and helps uncover their potential and talents. Throughout the camp, children delved deeper into national and cultural values. The camp fostered interaction and friendship among 196 children from border villages, strengthening community bonds. The “Hurry for Good” summer camp provided one of the best opportunities for alternative education, complementing school knowledge and significantly expanding children’s worldview. Its aim was to cultivate a flexible mindset that enables quick adaptation to the rapid changes of the modern world. One of the project’s donors was the “Yerevan Marathon,” which took place on June 4th, with all proceeds allocated to support this charitable project. Additionally, collaboration was established with the Arm Marathon Foundation, Hero League, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, and the Yerevan Municipality.
