Hope for Noemi

Shortly after Noemi was born, her parents noticed that she was unable to swallow milk due to a congenital tongue defect. To save her life, doctors placed a feeding tube so she could receive the nutrition she needed to survive and grow strong enough for critical medical intervention.

As she turned one, Noemi began to face new challenges — speech delays and breathing difficulties caused by her condition. Her family, already in a very difficult financial situation, could not afford the costly medical examinations she urgently needed. The most crucial step was a genetic test (WES), costing 500,000 AMD, without which doctors would not be able to provide an accurate diagnosis or start proper treatment.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters, and with the collaboration of our partner IMAST app, Noemi’s story took a hopeful turn. With the funds raised, she was able to undergo the necessary testing, and today she is under the close supervision of doctors, receiving the medical attention she needs. Her journey is not over, but she is no longer alone in it.
