Help for the Nelson Family

On September 25th, 15-year-old Nelson and his family attempted to find a way to leave Artsakh.
As a result of an explosion, Nelson’s father and uncle, as well as two sons of his uncle, perished. His aunt’s husband is still considered missing. Nelson, suffering severe burns, was airlifted to Yerevan. Due to the burns, Nelson’s fingers were amputated, and he sustained burns to his face, hands, and legs.
The women of the family somehow managed to cross the road in strangers’ cars and reached Armenia. The family’s grandmother, unable to bear the losses and pain, passed away a month later.

The family received all necessary home equipment from the partners of the ‘Hayordi’ initiative. In the near future, together with our partners, we will provide the family with other essential household items.
