Stories and Destinies of Volunteers: Mariam Nazaryan
We’ve always wanted to share more about our team, about those who have been behind the foundation for many years, and thanks to whom everything really works.
The first person we want to introduce is Mariam Nazaryan – a volunteer of our foundation, for whom the war became a motivation for repatriation to the homeland. Currently, Mariam lives, works, and rushes with us towards goodness in Yerevan.
Regarding my work at the foundation, I can say that I can’t imagine my life without it. Everyone has hobbies, some go to the gym, some draw, some dance, and I volunteer. My body demands it,” Mariam shared with us.
She has been with us since February 2018. Back then, Mariam followed us on social media and kept an eye on our projects. One day during an open house event, she decided to get acquainted with the foundation. And as you can see, we became friends.
Mariam currently coordinates the foundation’s activities in Armenia and is responsible for most of the foundation’s logistics. Recently, she also gave an interview to the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs @diasporagovam and talked about her work in our team. We’re sharing this interview with you too!
We promise to share more about the foundation’s life, the stories and destinies of our volunteers, all the joys and sometimes sorrows too – as they also teach us a lot. We’ll introduce you to our heroes and find inspiration together for something greater.
