The Struggle of Stavros Tigranyan with a Brain Tumor

Stavros Tigranyan began his fight against pilocytic astrocytoma of the brainstem in the summer of 2017. Operations in Armenia did not yield the necessary results, and urgent financial assistance was required for treatment abroad, in a German clinic. The charitable foundation “Hurry for Good” organized a fundraiser through social networks and other channels. The collected amount of 94,654.40 rubles was directed towards Stavros’ treatment, of which 51,000 rubles were sent to Yerevan to the parents’ account for treatment. The treatment was carried out in a German clinic.

Since the summer of 2017, the little boy has been fighting the diagnosis of “pilocytic astrocytoma of the brainstem” (a brain tumor). In Armenia, the child underwent three operations, but the results were disappointing. Unfortunately, Armenian medicine was powerless in this matter.
