The Story of Nelson from Artsakh

In September 2023, Nelson’s family from Artsakh endured a tragic loss when they lost their father in a gas station explosion. Nelson, trying to save his loved ones, was caught in the fire and suffered severe burns, losing parts of his limbs. However, the greatest pain for him is the loss of his father.

Today, Nelson lives with his mother and sister in a small rented apartment. The family relies on government assistance, his mother’s salary, and the support of kind people. Nelson continues his treatment at a burn unit in one of Yerevan’s hospitals, dreaming of returning home to Stepanakert.

Thanks to your help, we were able to purchase two sofa beds for the family. There is no space for regular beds in their small apartment, and these sofa beds have become a practical and important solution for them.
