Success Story: Anush Is Back to Living Her Life

Together with our amazing partner, the IMAST app, we launched a fundraiser to help 12-year-old Anush Sharbatyan undergo advanced genetic testing — a crucial step toward understanding the cause of her ongoing health issues.

Anush is a bright and creative girl who sees the world through art and dreams of traveling far and wide one day. But since 2024, she had been suffering from severe abdominal pain, vomiting, weakness, joint pain, headaches, and other difficult symptoms that disrupted her everyday life.

Her doctors at Wigmore Medical Center suspected a complex underlying condition, but to start the right treatment, Anush needed genetic testing that cost 350,000 AMD — an amount her family couldn’t afford on their own.

Thanks to your incredible support, the funds were raised, and Anush was able to take the test.

The results provided much-needed clarity. Doctors were able to confirm a diagnosis and prescribe the necessary medication. As a result, Anush has already seen significant improvement and is now continuing her normal life — going to school, drawing, and dreaming again.
