"Hurry for Good" Foundation

New Year’s magic continues to unfold!

Remember the family from Erebuni that we visited in December during our outreach to low-income families?
The family was living in horrific conditions in a dilapidated building, sharing a cramped 2×2 meter room with their 4 children. One of the girls, Mariam, was born without genitals and had to endure the hardship of walking with a bag connected to her bladder.
Unfortunately, they lacked the funds necessary for Mariam to travel to Moscow for life-changing surgery.
But that’s all in the past now, as we have not one but two heartwarming updates to share!
As many of you know, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, Mariam and her mother were able to travel to Moscow, and on February 5th, the surgery was successfully completed!
Yesterday, they were discharged from the hospital and flew back home to Yerevan.
But the miracles didn’t stop there.
Instead of returning to their old, cramped room, they arrived at a proper home—a place they can truly call their own. We had the immense joy of handing them the keys on New Year’s Eve, made possible by our dear friend of the fund, Karina Shahbazyan, who has graciously covered the rent for the entire year.
Mariam will still need a series of operations, but this successful start has paved the way for a brighter future. We are deeply grateful to our invaluable friends and sponsors who have made this dream a reality!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to those who were instrumental in making this possible: Karina @kshm74, Tiran and Lilith Karapetyan @maledili6666. Your kindness and generosity have ignited this transformation. Without your kind hearts, these miracles would not have happened.
