Anna Sarkisyan, 1 Year Old

Meet Anna Sarkisyan, a courageous one-year-old girl who has faced significant challenges in her early life. Anna was born prematurely on April 2, 2022, weighing just 900 grams. During routine examinations, it was discovered that she has severe hearing impairment (4th degree) in both ears.

Recognizing the crucial role of hearing in Anna’s overall development and quality of life, we embarked on a mission to assist her. With the support of our compassionate community, we successfully raised a total of 115,000 Armenian Drams (or 25,000 Russian Rubles), which enabled Anna to undergo cochlear implantation surgery.

This life-changing procedure, performed by doctors from the United States, will grant Anna the ability to hear and connect with her surroundings—allowing her to experience the cherished sound of her mother’s voice. It is a monumental milestone that will open up a world of possibilities for Anna, allowing her to experience the joys of communication and engage fully with the world around her.
