As you may recall from the “Apricot World” project’s report post, we mentioned the remaining funds that will be directed towards the treatment of a little child in desperate need of your help.
⠀
Here he is – little Alan. He’s almost 4 years old, and he cannot hear his mom’s voice, the sounds of nature, or explore the surrounding world.
⠀
Alan was born with bilateral neurosensory hearing loss of the 4th degree. As a result, he has not developed speech.
⠀
The boy is being observed at the Arabkir Medical Center in Yerevan, Armenia. Alan used hearing aids, regularly attended speech development sessions, but it all proved to be in vain. Speech has not developed.
⠀
In order for Alan to hear and speak, it is necessary to promptly perform surgery and install a cochlear implant.
⠀
The cost of the implant itself is $18,000. With the support of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Health covers $12,000, and Alan’s parents paid $6,000.
The cost of the operation is 2,700,000 drams (410,913.87 Rubles).
⠀
Thanks to you, we are transferring the amount of 366,125 rubles and 23 kopecks to the hospital, covering a significant portion of the required amount. Alan’s parents will take a loan to cover the remaining amount.
⠀
This is how our “Apricot” story with you brought peace and goodness directly to our compatriots, children from shelters, and little Alan.
⠀
Thank you for your kind hearts.
