Vardan has grade 3 scoliosis, a spinal condition that is already causing him many difficulties and putting both his health and quality of life at risk. Without the necessary intervention, the curvature may worsen and lead to serious musculoskeletal complications.

Until the recommended surgery becomes necessary, doctors have decided to manage Vardan’s condition through a brace, breathing exercises, and intensive physiotherapy. With your help, Vardan has already undergone one brace adjustment and continues to wear it in order to keep his condition stable. He now needs to travel again for the same purpose — to receive the next adjustment and continue being monitored by specialists.

This treatment is an important step in preventing further complications and in either delaying or properly preparing for the surgery that may be needed in the future — implantation of a metal spinal structure at the Turner National Medical Research Center in Saint Petersburg. But the regular brace adjustments, treatment, and medical supervision have already become a heavy financial burden for Vardan’s family.
